Standards of view for tests on radial grid (cell)

Several standards of view of test on radial grid are available.

Standards - how it works

The Standards of view make a translation of the dots of the curves, so that a reference curve in a rectangular grid, gives a regular and soft view with the radial grid.

Here under a reference courbe, on a rectangular grid :

Here under the same reference curve, on radial grid, with the standard "No Translation" :

The standard "No Translation" do no translation of the dots. All the parameter values are zero.

The page of the curve indicates "Std : No Translation" (see (1)).



Here under the same reference curve, on radial grid, with the standard International :

The International standard do a translation of the dots, so that the reference curve view is circular.

The page of the curve indicates "Std : International" (see (2)).

The available standards

    The available standards are :
  • Standard International : The reference curve shown here above is viewed as a circular curve
  • Standard Canadien : The parameters for this standard are not included yet in this version of the software
  • Standard "No Translation" : The parameters are all set to 0. There is no translation done between the rectangular grid and the curve on radial grid
  • Standard "My Standard" : The parameters can be set to any value. This allow specific and "home made" translation of the dots.
